Hello Maple East Families!
The Maple East PTA is a partnership between parents and educators who strive to enhance student learning and enrich the lives of the students within the school. It is also a forum for parents to obtain knowledge and communicate about what is happening at Maple East.
Many do not realize that the Maple East PTA provides financial support for items and events that add value to your child’s experience at school. These include field trips, social events like the Ice Cream Social, Fall Fun Night, and Bike Rodeo, assemblies, and classroom enhancement tools. Your membership dues and other money collected through fundraisers throughout the year directly fund these enrichments. The students at Maple East would not enjoy these events without the financial support of the PTA!
We encourage you to participate in any way that is right for you. Membership in the PTA can involve as much or as little time as you have to offer. There is no wrong or right way to be involved – anything you can give, whether it is time or money, will support your child’s experience. If you are interested in volunteering, there will be plenty of opportunities to do so throughout the year. These opportunities will be communicated through the Maple East Minute, our weekly newsletter that is emailed on Fridays, Class Dojo, The Lion’s Pen, and by the classroom room parents. If you are interested in taking on a larger role this year, please check out the list below to see chair positions still available.
